The Preamble: We the People of the United States, / in Order to form a more perfect Union, / establish Justice, / insure domestic Tranquility, / provide for the common defence, / promote the general Welfare, / and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, / do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Rewording of the Preamble: The citizens of the United States/ to be able to become a united union/ to create justice/ be sure to make peace for ourselves/ to provide defence/ help the people in need/ protect the liberty of men/ to keep hold of these rights from the Constitution for the United States of America.
