3rd Amendment verbatim:
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law. |
Explanation: Soldiers can go into someone's house with the owner's permission; however, if the owner says no and if it is during a time of war, they can't go into the owner's house. This is written in the law.
